Blush London, E5

about

A four storey terraced Victorian property with contemporary glass box extension.

The basement floor of the house has been transformed into a split level kitchen, living and dining space, with super minimal kitchen and a polished concrete floor. A tan leather curved banquette fits in neatly and provides the seating area. The glass box extension to the rear has a double height ceiling, and a 3 metre door that opens out to the garden.

The ground floor has a knocked through lounge with opening into the ceiling space of the extension below, allowing for fantastic daylight. The flooring is painted boards, and the walls are painted in F&B Calamine. The original fireplaces have been replaced with white marble replicas, in keeping with the Victorian style. The lighting is Sciolari.

The master bedroom has a mid-century rosewood bed and built in rosewood wardrobes. The bedrooms on the second floor have exposed brick chimney breasts and light grey floorboards.

Parking is on street meter parking. A limited number of permits can be supplied for an additional cost.
