Chan London, N16

This is a stunning architect designed location house in London of approx 1750 sq ft.

Built on the site of a former car workshop, this house is sandwiched between two Victorian terraces. The new build home completed in 2014 has a contemporary interior with a layout inspired by traditional Chinese courtyard houses.

There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, an open plan living, kitchen and dining room and two courtyard gardens.

The ground floor living room is accessed via the larger courtyard garden at the front of the house. Full width and height bi-fold doors provide ample natural light into the house. The floor is limed oak throughout, and the walls are pained white with a cantilever staircase providing access to the first floor. The house narrows at the rear towards the second, smaller courtyard garden. Walled high at both sides and planted with tall trees, the owners have created a private bijou outdoor space. There is an additional room on the ground floor that opens out to the front courtyard garden, this is currently being used as a home gym.

The three bedrooms are located on the first floor.

There are residents parking bays outside the house, and a small number of vouchers can be provided for an additional cost.
