The house was originally built in 1700s as a Cotswold Farmhouse, with significant additions in the Victorian era. The result is a very generous and characterful home, the rooms all have great volume; high ceilings, lovely proportions, and plenty of windows, bringing in lots of light, which is very unusual for a farmhouse in this region.

The house spans to over 8000 sq ft (excluding outbuildings) and the ground floor comprises a large kitchen, built in an orangery style, so the proportions of this room are wonderful, and it is always filled with natural light. There is a generous pantry open to the kitchen through arches on either side and outside the kitchen is a beautiful walled garden.
