Harrington London, SW7

about

Accessed down a secret lane, this arts and crafts location house in London was originally built in 1867, but has just recently undergone a complete renovation programme to create a stunning family home.

On the ground floor is the formal sitting room. This space is decorated in pale grey and white tones, and has neutral furnishings with some colourful art. The flooring is white stained oak herringbone parquet. A large window floods the room with natural light.

From the formal sitting room is access directly out to the courtyard.

Below the courtyard and to the lower ground floor is the open plan kitchen, living and dining room. This space has a more contemporary feel, with lofty proportions. The ceiling is super high down here, and there is a wall of crittal windows which spans from floor to ceiling. The kitchen is a sleek design with no wall cabinets and has a large central island with marble counter tops. The floor is polished concrete.

Also on this lower level is a guest bedroom, and stunning shower room with glass walls.

To the upper floors are a selection of well proportioned bedrooms. The bathrooms are all white with carrara marble accents.

There is no parking at this location, and the only access is via a pedestrian walkway. On street meter parking is available just a couple of minutes away.
