Roberts Radio Product Shoot on Location

Recent product shoot by Roberts Radio on location at ‘The Cottage’ location house in London.

Roberts Radio Ltd. established in 1932, was founded by good friends Harry Roberts and Leslie Bidmead, who began making portable radios from a small shop in London. Initially producing just three a week, they had a simple philosophy: never compromise on quality and keep pushing the boundaries.

Name: The Cottage
Location: London, N1

This is a three bedroom, semi-detached cottage in Islington that has recently undergone a complete overhaul.

The interior is contemporary, and has a slightly masculine edge, with cool deep colours and the use of natural textures and finishes, such as the concrete and reclaimed parquet floors, plus exposed brick features.

The ground floor is almost completely open plan. There is a tv room at the front of the house with traditional bay window, and the rear opens out where a huge extension has been added. The new space is home to a further sitting area with feature fireplace wall, a light filled dining area with large crittal doors out to the garden and a skylight above, and an open plan kitchen with large central island.
