The location property is an 18th century derelict barn has been given a complete remodel to create an outstanding home in the Kent countryside.
Featuring mechanically operated doors and a staircase that wraps around a chimney, this beautiful home is a million miles away from it’s previous days as a threshing barn.
The materials and the design of this living space is greatly sympathetic, and looks strangely natural to the space that has stood for centuries. The ground floor entrance makes full use of the huge height of the barn whereas the sitting area nestled closely around a central fireplace makes for a much cosier space. Above the sitting area is a mezzanine bedroom accessed by a cantilevered staircase that circles the chimney breast from the fireplace below.
