Holmes Bespoke Hidden Gem Collection Shoot on Location

Holmes Bespoke has long been recognised for its thoughtful approach to handcrafted rug design, combining traditional methods with refined modern aesthetics. For the launch of their latest series, Hidden Gems, the brand used a Shootfactory location to produce a beautifully styled product shoot set within a calm, architectural interior. The result is a collection revealed in its best light, where the location and the product work in harmony to tell a cohesive visual story.

Holmes Bespoke Collection

The Hidden Gems collection draws inspiration from the soft glow, organic textures and layered patterns found within some of nature’s most prized stones. From watercolour sketches to hand-tufted finishes, each rug is a reflection of a creative and technical journey, where depth, texture and movement are achieved through a combination of loop, raised and cut pile techniques.

Two designs featured in the shoot include Blue Diamond and Jasper.

Blue Diamond showcases an abstract, almost painterly arrangement of tones inspired by the gemstone itself. Its layered finish, made from New Zealand wool and bamboo silk, gives the piece a fluid and tactile quality that responds beautifully to light. In contrast, Jasper brings a stronger sense of form, with deep chocolate and hazelnut tones outlined in crisp, angular lines against a cream base. The carved detailing adds structure and visual rhythm, making it a grounding feature for any interior setting.

Every rug in the collection is fully customisable, offering designers and homeowners the flexibility to adapt size, shape, fibre and palette. Whether used as a centrepiece or a quiet complement, these pieces are made to be both functional and expressive.

Shoot Location in London

To capture the detail and quality of the Hidden Gems collection, Holmes Bespoke selected Arch House in West London through Shootfactory. This detached Victorian property blends heritage character with soft, contemporary finishes. Its high ceilings, curved architecture and pale wood floors provided the perfect neutral frame for the collection’s richness in texture and tone.

The layout of the house allowed for both wide and intimate shots, with natural light flooding through tall windows to highlight the surface details of each rug. The clean interior scheme allowed the pieces to stand out while also maintaining a sense of quiet sophistication that reflected the brand’s tone. The understated design of the location, from the soft cream walls to the refined material palette, allowed the rugs to take focus without distraction.

Shootfactory

For Holmes Bespoke, the setting was as important as the styling. Shootfactory worked closely with the brand to source a space that would echo the calm, collected feel of the collection, without overshadowing the handmade detail. Arch House proved to be the right match, offering clarity, architectural depth and just the right balance of minimalism and warmth.

Whether working with interior brands, designers or stylists, Shootfactory understands how a location can help shape the mood of a shoot. In this case, Arch House elevated the Hidden Gems collection, allowing the craftsmanship to shine through in a space that felt as considered as the product itself.
