Monochrome is one of my all-time favourite decorating trends. Although – not actually a “trend” more of a way of life, the classic elegance of black and white has been around forever! Its timeless”_and is always in vogue.
“I have said that black has it all. White too. Their beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony.” Coco Chanel
The paring up black and white, using it as a back drop to your life and interior design has really moved on in recent years ( a-la 1980’s ) and this classic colour combo is now found in so many amazing homes.
The main focus was on black and white, but – this look is no longer two tone with the introduction grey.
Homes owners are now adding accents of marble, timber…a pop of colour, layering up textures and using different furniture styles…taking the perfect harmony of black and white onto the next level in interior design.
