Katharos London, E5

A beautiful serene interior, designed with a palette of neutrals and a wonderful open plan layout.

The house is a Victorian semi-detached property with a very traditional exterior. The interiors however are a wonderful Scandinavian design exploiting textures, light and the feeling of openness.

The ground floor comprises wide entrance hall, two reception rooms, dining kitchen, and w.c. The first and second floors have four bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The open plan sitting room has fantastic natural light, and the open plan layout enhances the feeling of space. There is a wall of reeded glass panelling which allows shared light to spill through from the entrance hall. The second reception room has wide steps down to the kitchen level and french doors to the rear garden.

The kitchen has bare plaster walls and a polished concrete floor. The central island is made from corrugated concrete and the gas hob is integrated seamlessly. It’s a spacious room which allows for a dining area and a separate relaxing area. Sliding doors to two elevations flood the room with light.

The rear garden has an outdoor kitchen and good sized lawn, with a concrete sculpture.

A small driveway can be made available for parking, by prior arrangement.
