GROVE is a converted Victorian terrace just off Newington Green, between Dalston Junction and Canonbury stations. The house was renovated and extended in a modern, contemporary style designed to make the most of floor space, scale and light.

It has tall ceilings, with double-height spaces at its heart. Spread over four floors, it offers over 2,000 sq ft, with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a 40 ft garden

The interiors use a neutral, natural palette of exposed brick, plaster and textured
surfaces, with terrazzo, wood and tiled floors.

The clean, modern design is layered with antique and vintage pieces. Large open areas are divided into distinct spaces, which makes the house ideal for multi-scene shoots.

To the south, the property backs onto an established tree canopy. Most windows look out onto greenery, which gives the views an almost countryside feel.

Access and parking: Parking is directly outside on the one-way street.

The main entrance is through the front garden to the raised ground-floor front door, and there is a separate private entrance at basement level.

• Basement: The open-plan living, dining and kitchen space, centred on the
double-height kitchen. A corridor leads from the kitchen to the ‘green
bathroom’, a further bedroom and a utility room. A pocket door closes this
corridor off from the kitchen, so the bedroom, bathroom and basement
entrance can work as a self-contained green room or VIP area. All the
furniture in the bedroom is movable, so it can also be used for storage. A
double-height library connects the basement to the ground floor.

• Ground Floor: The front door opens onto a mezzanine with a piano, which
